Normal: The progesterone in "the shot" is continuing to thin down the uterine lining. The bleeding should stop in the next 2-3 days, up to a week; sometimes it can be longer. Certainly if the bleeding last more than 2 weeks and/or the bleeding is heavy, consideration can be given to taking some estrogen to stabilizing the lining of the uterus. You will need to talk with your doctor about this.
