A member asked:

I have small red bumps under my armpits and groin. i think they are a follicle infection. how do i treat this?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Folliculitis: If you're experiencing frequent folliculitis in axillary and groin regions, staphylococcus are probably colonizing your skin with invasiveness at times. In my experience a course of a potent antistaphylicoccal antibiotic for 2 or 3 weeks is needed to eradicate the causative bacteria. Discuss this with your physician.
