It means a visit...: It means a visit to one's primary care doctor or neurologist (bring your diary of symptoms). People get a headache from time to time, such as from colds, infections, lack of sleep, too much driving, long hours on the computer, stress at work, etc... An increasing or severe headache, recurrent headache, weird headache, one that wakes you from sleep, or other worrisome symptoms needs to be examined.
