A member asked:

My husband is 80 and smokes a cigar a day but just recently. should i worry?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It depends : It depends to his current health status , if he does not have any coronary artery disease or perpheral arterial disease or lung disease the effect of the cigar won't be significant. It takes long time to develop copd . By the time he develops symptoms of the copd he would be over 100 years old.
