Depends: Most will self heal over time if you just keep the area clean. There are over the counter products like IVY DRY and GOLD BOND INTENSIVE CARE that many find helpful. When I have a patient with PI swelling/rash around the eyes or genitals I will sometimes use oral steroids and or a strong topical steroid cream. If you think it is bad, have it evaluated.
