Yes: Your GP apparantly ordered omeprazole because of your having laryngo-pharyngeal reflux causing your post nasal drip. Looks like you suffered from couple of the side effects of omprazole. You can be prescribed another kind of ppi inhibitor would not cause similar side effect by your doctor. You can also use a medication less potent than ppi , an h2 receptor blocker such as zantac.
