Have exspierenced mono, afterward had small bumps, followed by swollen tonsols, tonsilitis, worried it could be sti such as syphillis, no rash. 19 y/o?

Confusing post: Essentially everybody gets mono at some point. It usually includes swollen tonsils as a feature & usually lasts 3 wks although sometimes 3 mo. If you feel you may have a STD like syphilis you need to have the blood test to confirm or exclude the issue. It is a less common but still active disease. Symptoms are often vague and may mimic several other conditions.
