Menstrual cycles: Many women have irregular menstrual cycles, but if there's very heavy bleeding with clots or a lot of spotting in between periods,prolonged menstrual bleeding,skipped periods, marked change in cycles, very painful periods, a consultation with a gynecologist is recommended.
