A member asked:

I've been on my period continously for 21 days & counting. it's finally starting to lighten, but should i be concerned & see a gynae?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Vaginal bleeding: Any vaginal bleeding for "21 days plus" requires a physician exam and testing. If pregnancy is possible, get a serum HCG test to make sure, since pregnancy outside the uterus (in your tubes, for example) needs immediate attention.
