Drink fluids: In the presence of a normal gyn examination, these symptoms, although disturbing, can be part of the normal menstrual cycle. It is best to stay very well hydrated, beginning a day before the start of your periods.

Heavy periods ?'s: Over time, blood loss not replaced will create "weakness" . This type of heavy bleeding with clots can be due to multiple causes, but consult with your gyn physician who may order other tests to determine the cause. Ask him/her about low dose oral contraceptives which can mitigate the blood loss.
