Repeat & see: Monocytes are precursors of macrophages,osteoclasts & other immune cells. Monocytosis can be seen in chronic inflammation like tuberculosis,syphilis & sarcoidosis Some leukemias & auto immune diseases- Lupus,rheumatoid arthritis & inflammatory bowel disease. Repeat the test in 3 & 6 months & then proceed to diagnosis.
