Doctor can evaluate: There are many causes of abdominal pains, so a doctor will have to get the whole story and do an exam. How tummy pains are related to menstrual symptoms will be part of the evaluation. Gastritis, heartburn, reflux, or other acidity problem causes pain. Liver, gallbladder, gallstone, and appendix problems can cause pain. Constipation, diarrhea, pancreatitis, and kidney diseases can cause pain.
