"Beta-Prostate": Beta-sitosterol seems to have some activity within the prostate similar to a 5-ari. As a naturally occurring compound, it may be of benefit to men in the same way that some rx meds may be. Individuals, however, should take these ("over-the-counter") products with a "grain of salt" since there is no standard by which public companies have to prove their claims (cannot claim to cure a disease).

Probably: The beta prostate supplement is a mix of vitamins and substances that is unregulated but may have some anecdotal evidence of improving urination. There is no real clinical trial or evidence that it works.
