Tammy had very bad clicking and sore jaw. she went to see a specialist. he did a cat scan. he cleaned out the joint under anesthetic. a bite plate was made which she uses at night. after 6 weeks the bite plate is very damaged. ?

Not sure if : there is a question here HOWEVER i guess you wish to know if the sequence of events you describe is "normal" or to be "expected" and the answer is a better material for the "bite plate"! ...report back to your oral specialist...seems that her teeth "grinding" is the correct diagnosis!!
