Fertility evaluation: If you have not been on birth control for 2 years then it is no longer in your system. If you have been trying to get pregnant without success for 12 months then consider seeing an Obgyn for a fertility evaluation. They will test for ovulation, a semen analysis and a test to see if the fallopian tubes are open
