A member asked:

I take the birth control pill and i am currently four/five days late and i have tried a homemade pregnancy test (sugar) and it read negative. ?

Buy home urine test: There are no reliable "home-made" pregnancy tests, so it makes no difference if a home-made test is positive or negative. However, store-bought "home urine pregnancy tests" are very accurate and not affected by foods, herbs, common illnesses, STD's, vaginal spotting, or medications; and give a reliable result 3 weeks after sex (3 weeks after when conception might have been).
