Yasmin contraception - i went from the last inactive white pill onto the 2nd 7 days week of pills missing out the first week of pills completely. only discovered mistake a week later. besides now being unsafe have i got my hormones all mixed up?

No problem: It is my understanding that all of the 21 active pills in Yasmin have the same concentration of hormone or are the SAME, so you can go back to day 1 of week 1 and finish those 7 pills before going back to week 3. There are triphasic bcp that have different combinations of hormone on week 1, 2 and 3 and taking them out of order can mess up a period but generally would not cause bc failure.

Oral bcp: mistake?: Yasmin is a combination pill, and as long as you started "an" active pill on "day 1 after the placebo (white)" pills, you should be OK from a birth control standpoint. When you finish the two weeks of active pills, just use the unused first week of pills without a break, and then start the placebos.
