Chest pain : chest pain particularly in the lower chest and upper abdomen is likely due to gastritis, hiatal hernia or esophageal reflux disease. Infectious causes like H.pylori can cause gastritis and peptic ulcer disease. If symptoms continue to persist, it might be wise to have your doctor test you for H.pylori (they have breath tests and stool tests for this condition).
