Will a head and neck ct scan show the esophagus? thank you!

ONLY: the very top...and that "poorly". The Esophagus needs evaluation with a Barium swallow/and/or endoscopy (the latter is simple, safe and most "sensitive" for determination of esophageal abnormalities. Hope this is helpful! Dr Z
