Which strain ?: If you have a breakout of wart producing HPV the virus can pass to the baby during a vaginal delivery. It does not effect the pregnancy. It could then lay dormant & show up as genital or vocal cord warts in the 1st 2 yrs. There is less risk if your primary wart outbreak is gone. The other strains of genital HPV have not been known to interfere with pregnancy or pass on to the newborn.
