A member asked:

How long does the results of a biopsy of the mandible take?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

2-5 days: Mandible is a hard bone and the tissue needs to be decalcified for proper processing. Depending on the hardness of the bone that was removed it may take a few days to remove the calcium without altering the soft tissues.
