Consider PT: First, I hope it gets better soon! Second, I would recommend physical therapy. If it was diagnosed as a sprain, you may have developed ligamentous laxity or chronic smaller tears of the ligaments that keep re-injuring themselves. Either way, a strengthening and stabilization program will usually help protect you long term. I would take a little break on stressing it too much until it is assessed.
