GI evaluation: Never ignore the possibility of pink colored vomit, this could be blood from wretching or stomach irritation. He should be on stomach protective medicine like Prilosec ( omperazole ) Prevacid or Nexium, all aviableb over the counter. If he keeps vomiting red or pink, he may need endoscopy to look for stomach bleeding.
