A member asked:

How do i treat a nappy rash. its mainly around my daughters vagina - she is 10 weeks?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Varies: Treatment varies with the type of rash.A yeast rash is generally quite bumpy & red & requires an anti-fungal agent. An acidic "scorched" appearing rash often responds to a simple barrier ointment or a prescription cream. Some "red patch" areas are just healing skin & need time to heal more & lose their reddened appearance. An exam can sort these out.
