Hyperpigmented lips: Please avoid betnovate ointment. In general more information is needed to know the cause behind it - skin problems, hormonal issues, scars, smoking, dehydration, drugs, chemical etc. Good lip hygiene can be practiced by exfoliating it when brushing teeth, use a lip balm with SPF in it, stay hydrated. Dermatologists can offer some creams, laser treatments or peels that can help with it.
