A member asked:

Is an am blood cortisol level of 13.5 and an aldosterone level of 4 indicative of adrenal insufficiency?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not by itself: If there is any realistic concern about adrenal insufficiency, you need an ACTH stimulation test. Overlooking it can cost you your life. It's not common, but the fact that you have hypothyroidism at a young age does increase your chances. Best wishes.
