See a doctor: Menstrual bleeding should not last that long, even if the bleeding is light. There could be many reasons why you are having prolonged bleeding. It could be from an infection, an STD, a polyp of the uterus or cervix, overgrowth of the lining of the uterus, or hormonal causes. I recommend seeing a gynecologist for exam and evaluation.
