Hi, i am due for an oeration but not sure how to proceed to start the process. do i go to a gynae or a gp first for a referral?

Question unclear: If a patient already knows for sure which operation she needs, she can contact the doctor who will do the operation. Usually, a patient does not know which operation she needs until her primary care doctor does an evaluation of whatever symptoms she has. The typical sequence is: GP evaluates patient, GP refers patient to specialist, specialist confirms disorder and plans surgery.
