How can you slow down/stop acne?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Scientific Rx: Start with topical benzoyl peroxide. If this fails, a physician's office visit. A topical antibiotic such as Clindamycin and/or a topical retinoic acid derivative is a good next step. The oral contraceptive pill will often end acne for a lady who can take it. A systemic antibiotic appropriate for the person is often necessary especially for disease on the trunk. Accutane for hard cases.
