i have had hip bursitis for a few years. steroid injection helped for a little while.could the bursitis be caused from my bad back?

Hip bursitis: Bursitis of the hip can be from running, falls, repetitive physical contact,biking, but I'm unsure that chronic back problems are a predisposing condition. An orthopedic specialist is best qualified to answer this question and advise you.
