Occasionally: Most "non-functional" pituitary adenomas are actually doing stuff if you look hard enough, and they can expand, damage surrounding structures, and sometimes even be destructive like low-grade cancers. Various protocols exist to treat them -- often it's good to get a couple of opinions. Best wishes.
