Hemorrhoid: yes it can. you will have to see doctors who does hemorrhoidectomy (removal or hemorrhoid). local anesthesia will be applied for this. other non surgical treatment includes using over the counter cream (preparation H in the US) or get a steroid cream from the doctors. you can also do sitz bath (warm water on the hemorrhoid) to relieve the symptoms and encourage healing.
