Wouldn't self treat: State medical boards frown on the practice. Their usual standard for any prescribing includes: an established physician patient relationship, a patient record, a history & physical with recent vital signs. Self treating or treating others (acquaintances) without these standard practices could subject you to loss or restriction of your license. Board action could end Specialty certification.
