Yes, stop the Meds: Panadeine Forte contains two pain medications and these only help the discomfort symptoms of a cold and do not shorten or treat the cold itself. Sleepiness and lightheadedness would be common side effects but can also be related to dehydration. It sounds like you would be better without this medication. If symptoms persist, get reevaluation for possible sinus infection.
