Caution!: Mild exposure to freon is generally harmless. However, if you have any symptoms of poisoning such as irritation of the eyes, ears, and throat, nausea, headache, vomiting, cough, chemical burn to your skin, dizziness or frostbite, vomiting, seizures, poor mental status, or difficulty breathing stay in fresh air and call 911 or the National Poison Control Hotline at 1-800-222-1222.
