..Shingles/neuralgia: 49 y/o Female says Cheek on one side keeps burning, hormone testing normal not menopause. What could be causing this? Burning all day. The causes could be many but most likely it could be Shingles/ Neuralgia from old Chicken Pox or similar Viral infection. One should see PCP for evaluation and laboratory tests.
