Im a 21 year old female, never been sexually active. i have thick green vaginal discharge. could i have an infection? what tests would my gp need do?

Yes: Your vagina is situated near your anus. This proximity exposes it to many germs that are common in your digestive tract. It is also a moist environment which creates a great breeding ground for germs that may enter by accident. Your GP could easily obtain a sample of your discharge on a swab to send for tests. A pelvic exam may not be needed but you are old enough to start having them done anyway.
