i had a blood test ok about 5 months ago. would it show up if i have leukemia now?

Not necessarily: your leukemia could have developed very recently, and not have been present 5 mos ago. hopefully you're seeing an oncologist for the proper mgmt. good luck.

Why leukemia ???: Rare conditions rarely happen. If you are obsessing about a specific deadly condition you could get a test for it every hour/day/week/month but still not rule out it happening in the future. You should have a long talk with your doc & see if s/he recommends you see a therapist to explore your fixation with this diagnosis. No one should carry such a burden.
