No worries, but...: Germs are presumed to survive only a short time outside the infected person, so if a swimsuit comes off an infected person and goes immediately onto a second person, it makes sense that the second person can catch the germs if she is the unluckiest person in town. If a swimsuit is washed before the second person wears it, the second person is safe. How unlucky are you?
