Stroke: Tias are caused by small amounts of clot or debris from arterial vessels such as carotids in the neck traversing to the brain circulation and causing blockages. Get checking for carotid disease and get heart checked for pfo.

Stroke: Tia is aoften called and harbinger of stroke. Several tias can happens one after another. Often times they lead to a stroke, thus it is very important to undergo investigation and find a reason for the tia.
