How much is too much prednisone? i've used it 5 days at a time, 3 times in 4 months, for 15 total days. various necessary reasons. is that too often?

Should be OK.: It seems that there’s enough space in between courses, and the courses are short enough in duration, that there should not be significant compromise of adrenal gland function. But my question is this: what’s being treated with these courses of steroid, and would there be a more appropriate treatment in the long term that can reduce your dependence on steroids?
