No, not likely: Watch out, Prednisone has some serious side effects if taken for more than 2-3 weeks especially when the daily dose is high like the dose(60 mg/day) that you are taking. So be sure to return to your doctor after one week of this dose to see if the dose can be reduced or stopped.
