How do i stop producing milk?

Wear a firm bra.: Assuming you were recently pregnant, the breast will keep on producing milk as long as it's stimulated. When you stop breastfeeding, wearing a bra, all the time, and sometimes using ice packs for a while will help. Your doctor may prescribe a medicine such as Parlodel (bromocriptine) to dry up the milk but the drug can have some side effects.

Stop breastfeeding: If you were breastfeeding and no longer wish to, weaning your baby will stop milk production. A good way to do this is to take away one breastfeeding session every two to five days. Milk production will cease soon after you've completely stopped breastfeeding. If you haven't breastfed, avoid stimulation of the breasts and the milk will eventually stop. Use of medications is not recommended.
