I have this on again off again fluttering sensation on the right side of my lower abdomen/upper pelvic area. its probably been there for a little over a year. ive gotten an ultrasound (just of abdomen) but there was nothing abnormal at the time. ?

Nondiagnostic: This symptom is nondiagnostic. The normal abdominal ultrasound is helpful. Vague fluttering in the absence of other symptoms can be due to irritable abdominal muscles or superficial abdominal wall nerves. It may also be caused by intestinal contents moving through the intestines. Worrisome symptoms would be severe cramps,abdominal or pelvic pain and tenderness and bowel or menstrual symptoms.
