Irregular bleeding: If pregnancy is possible, get a serum HCG test to be certain. Irregular bleeding can also happen with pregnancies outside the uterus (ectopic). Other causes are uterine polyps, fibroid tumors, which need testing done/ordered by your gyn provider.
