Wondering if early onset menopause could be the cause for an unpleasant smelling thick brown discharge. its been nearly a week since my last period?

Brown d/c: Would follow up w/ gyn. There are menstrual abnormalities with menopause but any abnormal vaginal discharge especially bloody needs investigation for polyps , fibroids or other abnormal masses in the uterus vs infection, incomplete miscarriage. .
