Interesting: A 9 yo with a discharge could have a retained foreign material in her vagina. This could be feces, toilet tissue or other debris. Diflucan would eliminate yeast if that was the cause after a few days but may not do the job. UTI's usually don't cause a discharge. She may need to see a OBGYn for an exam under anesthesia to evaluate for a foreign body.
