Short periods: Shorter and lighter periods are not usually indicative of a problem. Most people prefer them. If you would like more cycle control consider starting birth control. IF you are sexually active and on Lamictal the Folic acid supplementation 4 mg daily should be done to prevent neural tube defects during pregnancy
