A member asked:

Can cervical polyps bleed with clots?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Cervical polyps: Polyps are growths which occur within the uterine cavity, and sometimes uterine contractions can twist the thin stalk of the polyp and cut off blood supply, causing the polyp to degenerate and bleed. In such a case, clots may also be produced. See your gyn provider for an exam and treatment.
