Too frequent bleeds: Every 22 days of bleeding, even for perimenopause is too frequent and needs evaluation for anemia and other causes by your GYN MD. By definition, perimenopause is a "hormone imbalance" as estrogen without progesterone is the predominant hormone. See your GYN MD about fibroids, thyroid disorders, or other causes of this problem.
